The Great Wall of China

2005 Climate Bridge Ltd. is conceived by its founders, Cameron Hepburn and Alex Wyatt, on the Great Wall of China.
2006 Climate Bridge becomes active in the Voluntary Carbon Market, and remains one of the key players in that sector today.
2007 Climate Bridge enters the Compliance Market.  It also opens its first office in the UK.
2008 Climate Bridge enters into a number of strategic partnerships that allowed it to fast-track the growth of its CDM portfolio into millions of tons of emissions reductions
2009 Climate Bridge opens the doors of its new office in Melbourne, Australia.
2010 Acorn Capital becomes the first institutional shareholder in Climate Bridge. Further landmark transactions include another large framework agreement for around 3 million CERs, and a groundbreaking deal for Post 2012 CER options.
2011 Climate Bridge opens an office in Munich, Germany, under the leadership of Sven Kolmetz. Climate Bridge has now built one of the largest portfolios of CDM projects in the world.
