Shanghai – Gansu Xinmintan 10MW Expanded Hydropower Project has achieved registration with the UNFCCC Executive Board in a record time of 7 months from appointment of the DOE.
The 10MW small hydro project is located on the Tao river in Gansu province, China, and once construction is complete will reduce emissions by 36,231 tonnes per year. It was developed for CDM by Climate Bridge and was validated by the Japan Consulting Institute.
